Our client is a Prepaid Utility Service Provider, dominant in the field of the Prepaid Electricity market. The company has shown significant growth over the last years supplying prepaid electricity meters to electrical wholesalers and significant future growth is expected in developing this electrical wholesale market .
Reporting to the Managing Director, this newly created role offers exciting short and long term goals. You will build the prepaid brand in the electrical wholesale market by analysing the market potential, develop customer relationships; propose and set up operations/material to stimulate sales and ensure customer satisfaction. You will take full responsibility building brand awareness, brand positioning and promotions in this market.
You have extensive experience and knowledge of the Electrical Wholesale market and understand which factors are required to succeed in this market.
You will have a track record of creating and growing brand(s) with a proven ability in selling. Your ability to leverage an existing network of contacts and relationships in the electrical wholesaler space will be a distinct advantage. The role requires an ability to apply and compile a marketing strategy; brand development as well as business to business sales skills. You should also be able to converse comfortably in English and Afrikaans on a business level and travel extensively within South Africa.
Self-motivated, ambitious and highly competitive are traits essential to be successful in this dynamic and technical industry. You possess a certain likeability which leads to the formulation of strong interpersonal relationships. The position will suit a tolerant individual with a proven ability to conflict manage.
