While we’ve been a leading ticketing platform in the student events industry since our inception, we’ve seen explosive growth across wider industry areas, and we’ve now got exciting plans to expand into new verticals by building out some brand-new features and taking our offering global. …this is where you come in About the role We are looking for an Account Executive who will be responsible for ensuring customer service enquiries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner, and that our organiser clients are supported with the ongoing administration and use of their account, getting the most out of the FIXR platform and its functionality. You will be supporting our global business, with customers and clients based in South Africa, the UK and the UAE. The successful candidate will be an ambitious and organised individual with excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to form long-lasting client relationships. This role is based in our Cape Town office with 2 days/week working from home if preferred. What you’ll be responsible for Customer Service Deliver quality and passionate customer service through multiple channels (calls, email, live chat, social media). Resolve customer enquiries quickly and efficiently. Manage, investigate, and resolve customer complaints where necessary. Record information accurately into our internal systems. Escalate issues as required and work on a cross functional basis to resolve these. Account Operations Serve as the key point of contact for assigned client accounts, maintain client satisfaction, and build strong long-lasting relationships. Work alongside your Account Operations and Account Management colleagues to meet/exceed the expectations of our client base. Demonstrate a complete knowledge of FIXR’s product suite in order to resolve enquiries and help clients get the most out of our platform’s functionality. Collaborate with the Business Development Team to ensure a smooth client onboarding process from deal agreed to full account management responsibility. Handle client escalations and work across teams to resolve issues. Provide internal feedback on how we can better serve clients to help minimise churn and maintain an industry-leading position. Requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional telephone manner and confident on the phone. Good problem solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Organised, with high attention to detail. Go-getting attitude – you’re ambitious and believe you get out what you put in. Self-starters. You’ll get trained and you are part of a team, but we’re moving fast, so we value people who proactively bring ideas forward. Fun orientated people who can build relationships easily. Experience Ideally, you will have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. You will have a University degree. Benefits Competitive salary plus bonus. Hybrid environment.
