Our client, a manufacturer that supplies into Africa, is looking for an Account Manager who will be responsible to achieve the agreed targets of sales and profitability for the assigned customers in the region and to maintain and develop a sustainable relationship. This is an EE position, therefore preference will be given to African and/or Coloured applicants Key Performance Areas: New business development Cold calling Accurate sales forecasting and demand management Have ownership for the formalization of customer SLA’s. Responsible for pipeline development and this is weekly updated with correct information. Responsible for profit improvement initiatives at the customer. Develop and execute the sales account plans to ensure targets are met. Maintain a sustainable relationship with the customer and opens up new growth opportunities. Hold the ownership for correct pricing and margins, claim handling, payments and contract negotiations. Responsible to implement price reviews and to drive cost recovery models in place at customer. Drive cost, value added and efficiency initiatives. Support exceptional quality and product delivery Requirements: Sales or Marketing Qualification (Degree preferred) Fluent in English Experience in Account Management with proven delivery of business Commercial understanding (pricing methods & margin management) Own vehicle Willing to travel locally & potentially overseas occasionally Basic financial understanding Apply Now
