Account Manager - Centurion

Minimum requirements:
  • Matric
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Dell Client Services Partner Training
  • Fluency in English
  • 3 to 5 years IT Technical Sales experience, with emphasis on ICT Client Services (End user devices, Boardroom equipment, end user resources etc)
  • 5 to 7 years extensive Account Management and Sales Experience in the Public Sector within the ICT industry
  • Business development experience
  • Proven sales track record
  • Self-starter with highly developed interpersonal skills, decisive and result oriented
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Exceptional analytical skills for analyzing and determining client requirements
  • Work well under pressure and commit to deadlines
  • Have excellent people skills and intuitive to customers business needs
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing with different types of customers and clients
  • The ability to work independently and within a team
  • Basic accounting and/or technical knowledge
  • Excellent understanding of government supply chain processes and tender / bid process
  • Must understand, appreciate and follow company processes
  • ICT knowledge Client Services specific

Responsibilities and Accountability:

  • Responsible for 60% hunting and 40% farming (Building strong client relationships to maintain old business and acquire new customers)
  • To ensure that revenue and GP targets are met
  • Coordinate with various teams so that the customers expectations are met
  • Upsell the Companys services and solutions
  • To serve as the custodian for the Private and Public Sectors in order to drive overall market share
  • To serve as the liaison between the Company and their customers
  • To manage market segments, customer base and industry verticals to target
  • To assist in defining and executing the strategic business development plan
  • Manage and identify key customer relationships and pipeline
  • To utilize the internal System in order to track the whole sales process flow
  • Will be responsible for attending bi-weekly / monthly meetings and reporting thereof
  • Will be responsible for managing relationships between the Company, Distributors and OEMs
  • Ensure end-to-end responsibility and accountability for all tenders brought to the company, from crafting comprehensive cover letters to overseeing meticulous compliance with requirements and ensuring competitive pricing
