Reference: CTF018103-DC-1A client of ours, in the retail industry, is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor. They are a long-standing, well-established company. They have 100s of branches nationwide. Their finance department across the group is constantly growing. If you have staff management experience in creditors, please send us your CV. Job Description (Including but not limited to):Ensure that all invoices received from vendors are processed timeously and correctlyCheck that the invoices comply with all SARS rulesCheck that invoices are posted into the correct financial periodCheck that intercompany invoices are processed before deadlinesEnsure accurate and complete information is delivered on timeApprove all vendor reconciliationsEnsure that the AP clerks maintain a clean reconciliation (no reconciling items older than 60 days)Ensure that the vendor age analysis has no queries older 90 daysEvery 6 months check to see if the vendor banking details are still correct and update if necessaryResolve vendor queries that have been escalated by the AP clerks timeouslyEnsure that vendors adhere to Burger King processesProvide a list of vendors not used within 18 months for deactivationEnsure that all old purchase orders are cleared Qualifications and experience required:Grade 12 At least 4 years performing creditorsAt least 2 years staff management experience Contact DAWOOD CADER on dcadercommunicate.co.za, quoting the Ref: CTF018103.
