An Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, analyzing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. They play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of an organization by accurately recording and analyzing financial information. Responsibilities: Responsible for the control of the company's CISA accounts receivable Management of the company's CISA accounts payable. Assisting the company in issuing various financial statements for CISA. Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and organize financial records, including ledgers, journals and accounts payable/receivable. Financial Statements: Prepare and analyze financial statements (such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements) to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in developing budgets, monitoring expenditures, and providing insights for future financial planning. Taxation: Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Provide guidance on tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities. Auditing : Collaborate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks. Provide recommendations based on analysis to improve financial performance. Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, regulations, and company procedures. Software and Systems: Utilize accounting software to manage financial transactions, data, and reporting effectively. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Professional certification is often preferred Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) Analytical skills for interpreting complex financial information Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping Communication skills for collaborating with various teams and explaining financial information. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
