Our client, who has a vision to be a powerful market leader in the logistics industry, currently seeks your strong accounting experience in order to maintain proper financial controls, accounting and reporting for multiple companies within the Group. The Person: B.Com (Accounting) essential. Min 5 years’ Accounting experience. Excellent understanding of ERP Accounting system. Experience in logistics / warehousing / property beneficial. Good understanding of VAT Laws. Experience with SARS e-Filing. The Job: Prepare management accounts. Various data extraction, analysis, manipulation and reporting. Monitor internal controls, procedures and systems. Reconcile all control accounts and sub-ledgers. VAT reconciliation, return and audits. Maintain non-current asset and liability registers and reconciliations. Import data from operating and payroll systems. Monthly journals, accruals and revaluations. Prompt and accurate response to queries from Management, Auditors and Regulators. Competences: Excellent analytical skills. Good understanding of data structures, integration and integrity. Excellent Excel and reporting skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to focus and prioritise own workload. Experience working as part of a large team and organisation. Communicate clearly with Regional Managers and resolve queries.
