Our client an Accountancy Company based in George, Western Cape is looking for a suitable qualified candidate to join their pro-active and dynamic team. Requirements: Qualifications: Accounting Degree Accountant office background and environment would be preferred. Articles: SAIPA/SAICA articles completed Experience: 5 years in an auditors/accounting firm Programs: Xero, Sage and CaseWare. Additional programs will be of an advantage. Key duties would include: Registering all tax types SARS payment arrangements Submission of objections and appeals with SARS. Manage and submit SARS audits and reviews. Prepare tax payments. Submit and track tax returns (Companies, Trusts and Individuals) Provisional tax management and submission Organize and update companies' tax database. Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals. SARS e-filing equipped. Review and Compilation engagements. Drafting AFS in accordance with IFRS for SME The successful candidate must be: Equipped and have strong working knowledge of tax compliance matters. Well-equipped in tax admin matters on e-filing A good communicator (written and verbal skills) Dynamic and motivated Able to work on their own and/or in a team. Fast learner Computer literate
