ACCOUNTANT / BOOKKEEPER - R25k - R23k pm - SOMERSET WEST OPERATIONAL FINANCIAL DUTIES: Daily invoicing to the foreign clients based on info from the Sales Team Sending out the invoices Printing and allocation of "dealsheet" on the system Send out the download spreadsheets Freight costs from the Shipping Lines allocate to the relevant discharges Generate weekly payment advice for payouts Sending out weekly payment advice proof of payment Allocation of payments on QX (operational system) against the relevant debtor. Follow up outstanding balances with Debtors. STATUTORY FINANCIAL DUTIES: Allocation of ZAR & Currency deposits against the cash books on Pastel Allocation of Ad Hoc costs against the bank and or Creditor on Pastel. Assist the Financial managers with End of Month procedures. Assist the Financial managers with Annual audit recons (debtors/creditors/Bank) AD HOC DUTIES Generate statistics from BI program - as requested. Daily / Weekly filing of paperwork. QUALIFICATIONS Finance Diploma or similar 2-5 years revelvant experience APPLY TODAY to be considered for this vacancy OR to be matched to similar roles in the near future.
