MARULA PLATINUM LIMITED INTERNAL/EXTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT Accountant - C5 DATE OF DISTRIBUTION 04.06.2023 CLOSING DATE 24.06.2023 PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To provide a professional management accounting and administrative service to management and staff in order to ensure compliance to policies, procedures, approval frameworks and internal controls MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Finance and/or Cost and Management Accounting related degree or diploma is essential. Minimum of 2yrs working experience in a production related environment in the Financial/Cost and Management Accounting field is essential. Computer literacy (MS Office package, SAP) is essential Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with end-users at all levels of the organisation. Must have knowledge of production/operational and capex business process Must have knowledge of costing process flow Valid medical certificate or be medically fit in order to obtain such a certificate DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES: The successful candidate will be responsible for: Preparation, presentation and interpretation of monthly management accounts and related reports. Preparation of annual business plans and forecasts. Supplying of information to stakeholders to enable them to make informed decisions regarding performance. Coaching junior accountants and/or clerks on business, systems and processes.
