Our client in the Employee Benefits and Funding industry is looking for an Accountant to join their team Requirements: BCom Accounting/ BAcc degree Completed SAICA articles Computer literate Self-starter Deadline driven Duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the below: The capturing and processing of all banking transactions on a weekly basis; Invoicing of admin and consulting fees for any recoveries of expenses incurred on behalf of certain clients on a monthly basis; Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures; Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met; Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close; Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities; Preparation of VAT/PAYE packs on a monthly basis; Develop and maintain financial databases; Financial audit preparation; Ensure accurate and appropriate recording of revenues and expenses; Reconciliation of bank, petty cash, creditor and debtor accounts on a monthly basis, and Other ad hoc duties as assigned from time to time.
