Join my client as a Brand Accountant and take on a pivotal role in financial management and reporting. This position is based in Johannesburg North. Duties: Financial Planning, Forecasting, and Budgeting: Collaborate with management to develop detailed budgets for each campus and account, leveraging historical data and trend analysis. Support Principals and Managers throughout the budget compilation process. Monitor performance, conduct variance analysis, and provide insightful recommendations. Maintain communication with Group Shared Services for revenue collection and asset management. Financial/Management Accounting: Reconcile billing and payments monthly and annually, ensuring accuracy. Manage inter-company loans and provide financial guidance to Principals and the Brand Management team. Review complex accounts and oversee reconciliation processes. Address queries from campuses and coordinate resolutions with Group Shared Services. Financial/Management Reporting: Analyze financial performance for each campus and the overall brand. Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Generate cash flow forecasts and manage monthly management accounts. Deliver MANCO reports within specified deadlines. Compliance: Enforce adherence to financial policies and procedures across campuses and brands. Facilitate internal and external audit processes, addressing queries and implementing corrective actions. Provide training on financial policies and procedures to campus staff. Ensure timely submission of statutory returns and approve expenditures as per authorization matrix. Staff Management: Manage day-to-day workflow and ensure timely completion of tasks. Identify critical skills needed for sustainable service delivery. Facilitate staff training to enhance skills and efficiency. Job Experience and Skills Required: Completed BCom in Accounting or Finance related field Completed Honours / Post Graduate Degree is advantageous Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar position If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
