We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to oversee our client's financial activities and ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for driving business success in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and month-end close processes. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial performance. Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial transactions. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, working closely with departmental managers to develop accurate financial projections. Coordinate with external auditors to support annual audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Conduct regular reviews of internal controls and processes to identify areas for improvement and mitigate financial risks. Provide financial analysis and support to various departments within the organization, helping to drive informed decision-making and optimize business performance. Stay updated on relevant accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SYSPRO) and Microsoft Excel. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. R28 000 CTC to R30 000 CTC per month based on experience and qualifications
