Accountant position available for small accounting firm in Umhlanga / La Lucia Job Description: - Analyse accounting data, prepare monthly management accounts - Provide financial information to management - Documents financial transactions by entering accounting information - Preparing Balance Sheet, Income statement and trial balance - Record and analyse - Reconcile bank statements with financial records to summarize banking and business operations - Attend to Bi-monthy vat submissions and audits - Submission of provisional tax for companies and individuals - Preparation of Annual Financial Statements - Monthly reconciliations for Balance Sheet items - Monthly payroll reconciliations - Monthly e-filing requirements - Assistance with CIPC submissions - Assistance with Workmens Compensation submissions Skills: - Communicate effectively with clients - Excellent accounting software user and administration skills - Pastel Partner, Xpress, Sage One, Xero, Caseware - Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills - Experience with SARS e-filing and dealing with SARS for all correspondence and audits - Experience with CIPC portal Qualifications: - BCompt Accounting - SAIPA (not compulsory if experienced but will be advantages - Minimum 3 years experience from an accounting backround Package between R16k to R 22k CTC based on level and experience
