Accountant position - West Rand - Tarlton Accountant skilled in financial analysis, data management, and tax planning. Proficient in reconciliations, reporting, and software usage. Effective communicator and team player with strong analytical abilities and ethical integrity. Trial Balance (including Balance Sheet) of all companies within the company Duties / Responsibilities Prepare recons and review all Trial Balance accounts for all companies. • Processing monthly journals. • Upkeep of petty cash transactions and monthly reconciliation (GWF). • Preparation of VAT recons (incl. diesel rebate) and submission of VAT201 on SARS Efiling. • Preparation of salary journal and submission of EMP201's for all companies. • Reviewing all journals processed on the accounting system. • Preparing reconciliations for all inter-company loan accounts. • Managing statements, interest, and penalties with SARS (VAT201 & EMP201). • Assisting with annual audit preparation. Education and Experience • Bookkeeping or Accounting Diploma. • At least 5 years experience in a bookkeeping role. • Experience with balance sheet accounts. • Advanced Excel skills. R25 000 - R30 000pm negotiable
