Are you an accounting enthusiast with an eye for detail and a passion for precision? Kendrick Recruitment are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a prestigious establishment, responsible for ensuring accurate financial processing and assisting in various accounting functions. Purpose of the Role: To meticulously manage supplier invoices, maintain accurate records, and support the finance team in all accounts payable tasks. Key Duties: Capture suppliers in Sage Online and ensure timely payments. Prepare monthly reconciliations and creditor age analysis. Address payment queries from creditors and staff. Reconcile staff expenses and maintain budget records. Handle cash book entries and monthly credit card transactions. Maintain organized document filing systems. Collaborate on ad hoc finance projects as needed. Requirements: Matric qualification. Diploma in accounting or related field. Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Minimum of two years' experience in accounts payable. Knowledge of Sage Online preferred but not mandatory. Accounting experience. Qualification in accounting or bookkeeping. Attributes: Passion for numbers and financial accuracy. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Meticulous attention to detail. Strong team player with effective supplier and staff engagement skills. Reporting to: Finance Manager Start Date: Immediate Salary Range: R15,000 – R17,000 per month Additional Benefits: Travel allowance. Cell phone allowance. GAP insurance. 15 days of annual leave. Location: Candidates must reside within 15km of Fourways and be available to start immediately.
