Accounting Manager - Durban
An exciting opportunity exists for an Accounting Manager for our client within the finanical services industry based in Durban. If you are motivated, dynamic and a great team lead looking to advance your career, then this role is for you!
The Account Manager will responsible for managing the team to ensure that best practice scheme administration systems and processes are implemented and effectively managed in support of the companys strategic direction.
You will be responsible for developing and managing mutually beneficial business partner relationships by providing excellent customer experience and account management.
What you will need:
B. Com Degree or equivalent level Accounting Diploma is required.
An Accounting "major" would be preferable.
Proven track record in leading, managing and coaching a team is required.
At least 5 years previous related working experience in a corporate entity is required with demonstrated supervisory and management experience.
Experience in working with advanced Excel is required.
Proficient in the preparation and analysis of reports.
What you will do:
Assumes overall accountability for providing our business partners with accurate, complete and value adding financial analysis and operational reports.
Ensures compliance to all regulatory requirements, policies, and processes.
Financial Reporting and Analysis.
Responsible for developing and maintaining productive and positive working relationships with our business partners through understanding, anticipating, and meeting their expectations.
Leading and Managing People.
Responsible for reviewing the scheme financial reports to ensure that they are accurate and complete.
Responsible for reviewing and analysing data and reports with the intention of understanding trends, anomalies, and errors.
