A pump manufacturing, fluid handling, maintenance, and repair services company in the engineering industry is seeking, a dynamic Accounts Assistant to join their finance team and provide essential support to the accountant. The successful candidate will assist in various financial tasks including job cost analysis, fleet management, inventory management, and internal controls. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers, we want to hear from you Conduct Job Cost Analysis Manage Fleet Management Oversee Inventory Management Assist with Internal Controls Support Debtors & Creditors Record and Analyze Data Tasks: Create cost analysis reports for branches Track and control associated costs, including fleet management Support payroll functions Provide administrative support as required Handle petty cash transactions Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and review recons when necessary Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, credit notes, and follow-ups on outstanding accounts Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud Assist in inventory valuation and management by reconciling inventory records 3 - 5 Years Experience Accounting Qualification and Matric Valid Drivers Licence and own Vehicle Skills Required: Excellent communication skills Strong financial analysis abilities Proficiency in cost and project accounting Knowledge Required: Knowledge of Sage Evolution system Proficiency in Jobsys R15k – R30k (dependent on skill/experience/knowledge)
