This popular restaurant royalty is seeking a dynamic and detail-orientated Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their finance team. If you have a passion for numbers, a drive for accuracy, and just an all-round foodie, then this is the perfect opportunity for you As the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will be required to do the following:Process invoices received from vendors timeously and accuratelyEnsure that all the invoices comply with the SARS ruleResolve queries related to creditors accounts and approve the reconciliation thereofPaying creditors on timeConfirm Intercompany invoices and process them before deadlinesEnsure the invoices are posted into the correct financial periodApproving all the vendor reconciliations and paymentsManage the AP clerks by ensuring they maintain clean reconciliationResolve vendor queries escalated by the AP clerksEnsure that all vendors adhere to the companies processesProactively deactivating vendors that hasn’t been used within 18 monthsClear old purchase orders timeouslyApprove vendor payment and ensure that the payments are done accurately and paid within the termsWork closely with the AP Lead and communicate any irregularities concerning payments that can negatively impact cash flowYou will also be responsible for reconciling the Open PO report, and ensuring an accurate filling systemYou will also have to assist with the broaden financial department as needed Skills & Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience within an Accounts Payable departmentExperience in a supervisory position within an Accounts Payable departmentDetail-orientatedTime management skillsStrong reconciliation abilityComfortable working in a diverse cultureIntermediate Excel skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills Qualification:MatricRelevant accounting qualification would be beneficial Contact JENELLE COOKSON on 021 418 1750, quoting the Ref: CTF018032.
