Admin Clerk Warehouse and Distribution - Johannesburg

Grade 12 is essential
Warehouse / Distribution / Administration Certificate will secure
Computer Literacy on SYSPRO, SAP or similar
MS Office skills are essential

A minimum of 4 - 5 years admin experience within a warehouse or distribution environment is essential.

The Warehouse and Distribution Clerk will be responsible for the following and will report directly to the Logistics Manager

  • Print reports of invoices of previous day that was processed after hours
  • Check pick slips and separate road, containers, collections and retail orders
  • Print invoices from pick slips
  • Check reports for the pick slips not invoiced and follow through
  • Check report for pick slip not received and investigate with Sales Dept to expedite, reprint
  • Capture previous day PODS
  • Send completed PODS to file
  • Capture data of transporters PODS on a daily basis
  • Check Transporter invoices for :- correct delivery charges, pod; attached to transporter invoice , marked shortages on transporter invoice
  • Forward any shortages/damages via email to the relevant transporter and debtors department for investigation
  • Follow up on outstanding queries on a daily basis
  • Report all queries to the Logistics Manager
Ability to work in a pressurized environment
Well organised individual with strong admin skills
Overtime will be required from time to time
