MARULA PLATINUM LIMITED INTERNAL/EXTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT Administrative Supervisor - Risk DATE OF DISTRIBUTION 11.01.2024 CLOSING DATE 20.01.2024 PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To manage legal and other internal requirement reporting systems in accordance with Mine, Health and Safety Act and internal Management Systems MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification is essential. National Diploma in Safety or Risk Management would be advantageous. Minimum of 3 - 5 years working experience as an administrator in Risk Department is essential. Computer literacy (MS Office package) is essential. Functional knowledge of Health & Safety systems such as Risk SAP Module, CURA, Synchromine & SharePoint is essential. Knowledge of health and safety principles in the workplace, especially referring to Regulation 23 of the MHSA and COID Act Statistical analysis experience is essential. Interpersonal, Training and Communication skills are essential. Valid medical certificate or be medically fit in order to obtain such a certificate. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: The successful candidate will be responsible for: Monitoring of programmes (CURA, Synchromine & SharePoint) for Health, Safety and Environment systems. Participate in the Internal HSE System Audit Program for the operation. Participate in the execution of operational HSE Internal and external Legal Compliance reviews. Participate in the execution of Management Performance Standard Participate in an operational audit schedule on critical areas to ensure the elimination of Fatal Incidents, Major Potential Incidents, and High Potential Incidents (FRCP, Risk Assurance, Group compliance reviews). Participate in Auditing the close-out and effectiveness of implementation of actions that arise from operational VFL, incident investigations, risk assessments and audit reports. Participate and adhere to training standards, competencies, and skills PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO EMPLOYEES FROM THE DESIGNATED GROUPS IN LINE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE EMPLOYMENT EQUITY ACT, THE COMPANYS RECRUITMENT POLICY AND EMPLOYMENT EQUITY PLAN.
