Administrator/Bookkeeper
Our client’s core operations are the installation, maintenance, and repairs of Mine Winders, Mills, Thickeners & Crushers, and Apron Feeders. They are looking for an organized and mature Administrator/Bookkeeper to join their team.
They are based in Vereeniging, Gauteng.
Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping to Trial Balance & Creditors control.
- Cash book control, reconciliation, and filing management.
- Management of payroll and wages systems including calculation of all staff wages and commissions (manual systems included) - Payroll Processing on Sage Pastel payroll.
- Petty Cash control
- Creditors reconciliations
- MEIBC submissions & Pension fund processing
- Data entry
- Management of office admin staff.
- Daily peripheral office tasks - training will be provided
- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
- Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
- Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
- Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication, such as:
- Management and organisation and following up of all incoming email correspondence
Job Requirements:
- Certified training & Experience with Sage Pastel accounting software & Sage Payroll
- 8 years of working experience in a similar role (self-taught or manager-led learning)
- Excellent knowledge of working on Excell & Word
- Strong and eager work ethic.
- Team worker with flexible and dynamic thinking.
- Must be able to speak Afrikaans and English fluently.
- Must be able to type / communicate in English with minimal grammar & Spelling mistakes.
- Must have own vehicle / transportation
Salary
- Between R30 000 and R38 000 based on experience.
