We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Advanced Excel and Power Query Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leveraging advanced Excel and Power Query capabilities to streamline data analysis, reporting, and visualisation processes. This role requires deep expertise in Excel functions, formulas, macros, and an understanding of Power Query for data transformation and integration. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data-driven decision-making and a proven track record of delivering actionable insights to support business objectives. Responsibilities: Design and develop advanced Excel spreadsheets and models to automate data processing, analysis, and reporting tasks. Utilise Power Query to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Create complex calculations, formulas, and macros in Excel to manipulate and analyse large datasets efficiently. Collaborate with management to understand data requirements and provide customised solutions to meet their needs. Create and format charts, graphs, and visuals to present data in a clear and concise manner. Optimise data workflows and processes to improve efficiency. Provide training and support to the team on advanced Excel techniques and best practices. Stay updated on the latest Excel and Power Query features, tools, and techniques to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Conduct quality assurance checks and data validation to ensure data integrity and reliability. Requirements: Proven experience (3 years) as an Advanced Excel and Power Query Specialist or similar role. Candidate will be required to take an Excel test to demonstrate their skills and experience. Expertise in advanced Excel functions, formulas, macros, and data analysis techniques. Proficiency in data analysis techniques such as pivot tables, XLOOKUP, and conditional formatting. Understanding of Power Query for data transformation, cleansing, and integration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Self-motivated and proactive with a passion for continuous learning and professional development. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
