The Aftermarket Product Specialist is responsible for handling inquiries from an international client base for spare parts for standard and customised engineered products.
Responsibilities:- Providing quotations with price, lead time and payment terms for spare parts, liaising with other internal departments as well as field sales personnel and suppliers.
- Preparing spare parts lists for new equipment.
- Weekly update of opportunities in the CRM tool.
- Analysing quotation success rate and provide reports.
- Utilises specialised technical/product knowledge to sell and promote products and/or services primarily by telephone.
- Propose changes in equipment or use of materials resulting in cost reduction, or improvement in operations.
- Provides technical advice to customers relating to use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
- Prepares sales quotations and proposals for products, including price and delivery and follows up to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conduct site visits to assess the functionality of installed equipment
- Meet set sales targets.
Requirements:
- Diploma in technical or commercial program and a minimum five years of functional experience in similar internal sales role or related experience in maintenance function.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of Dairy/ Food processing plant operation and maintenance having sanitary equipment like PHE, Separator, Homogeniser, Mixer, Pumps, Valves, and has preferably worked in factories (maintenance)
