Aftermarket Sales Specialist - - Midrand

The Aftermarket Inside Sales Specialist shall be responsible for handling enquires from an international client base for spare parts for standard and customised engineered products. This person will be responsible for providing quotations for the required parts promptly to the client and following up proactively to secure the business for the company.

Responsibilities:

Providing quotations with price, lead time and payment terms for spare parts in an efficient and responsive manner.
Liaising with other internal departments such as Customer Service, Engineering, Production, Finance, as well as field sales personnel and suppliers, as necessary.
Following up quotations proactively to secure the business for the company.
Preparing spare parts lists for new capital equipment and pursuing and tracking the capture of this aftermarket business.
Weekly update of opportunities in the CRM tool.
Analysing quotation success rate regularly and providing reports as necessary to management.
Utilises specialised technical/product knowledge to sell and promote products and/or services primarily by telephone.
Provides technical advice to customers relating to use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
Prepares sales quotations and proposals for products, including price and delivery and follows up to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

Have an in-depth knowledge of Dairy/ Food processing plant operation and maintenance having sanitary equipment like PHE, Separator, Homogeniser, Mixer, Pumps, Valves
Strong Customer centric attitude.
Responds and communicates in a professional and composed manner even when under pressure.
Excellent communication, influence, and presentation skills
Strong organization and planning skills.
Fluent in English & Afrikaans
Capable of working in a busy internal sales office, handling inquiries for technical parts.
Ability to work with SAP 6
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
