SAFEX Exams Minimum of 3 years of experience in the SAFEX environment for grain trading A comprehensive grasp of regulations, exchange protocols, and optimal approaches guiding grain trading. A demonstrated expertise in compliance management and risk assessment within the commodity trading sector. Proficiency in using relevant software and systems for compliance monitoring and reporting. Role will involve Developing and executing robust compliance policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory mandates and industry norms. Coordinating with internal stakeholders to refine risk management frameworks and fortify internal checks. Stay updated on regulatory shifts, industry patterns, and optimal practices to inform compliance strategies and undertakings. Act as a point of contact for regulatory bodies, exchanges, and external auditors as required. Overseeing and evaluating conformity with internal protocols, external statutes, and exchange regulations governing grain trade operations. Conducting thorough risk evaluations to detect, assess, and mitigate potential risks throughout trading activities. Offering expert advice and assistance to trading teams regarding compliance issues, ensuring adherence to established guidelines. Administering regulatory reporting responsibilities, including compliance with SAFEX stipulations, ensuring accurate and punctual submission of data.
