Agri Executions Specialist - Johannesburg
An established agricultural company based in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg is looking for an experienced Agri Execution Specialist with experience exporting Agriculture products ( grains, oilseed, cakes and other raw animal feed materials) in BULK across border into SADC countries. End-to-end Logistics experience is essential.
Sal: 40k to 50k per month
Location: Bryanston
Reporting line: Senior Commodities Trader
Non-Negotiable requirements:
- Candidates must live in or near Sandton ( 20kms max)
- Experience in Cross Border Executions via ROAD and SEA (Malawi, Zambia, Botswana, Mozam and Zim, Tanzania and Namibia)
- Relevant diploma in logistics MIN. Degree highly preferred
- Candidates must have a stable career history (job changes every 2 years is not acceptable)
- Well spoken and written English
- Must be willing and able to work long hours (08h30-18h00)
Essential Experience required for consideration
- Candidates MUST come from an internal logistics department from a Commodities Company NOT a Logistics company. Candidates from freight forwarding, external logistics companies, transporting companies or clearing houses are not suitable
- Administration relating to contract execution of BULK products into AFRICA (Cross border) via ROAD and SEA
- Stock management is key
- Road freight management (Truck configuration, truck types)
- Generating and preparing export documentation including, Phytosanitary certificates; Certificates of Origin; SADC certificate; SAD 500; PODs
Duties involve:
- Pre-Planning of contracts with relevant trader
- Keeping clients updated on contract movements.
- Efficient Resolving of disputes and ensuring that client expectations are met
- Identifying country specific documentation per export / import (permits / other paperwork)
- Booking and tracking of road trucks from and to clients.
- Ensuring all relevant paperwork in order prior to execution.
- Manage the stock positions
- Ensure all stock is reconciled on a regular basis and any discrepancies in stock volume is identified in a timely manner and corrective action taken
- On time raising of invoices.
- Control all dispatch and receipt reports from silo / warehouse to clients.
