Seeking an experienced Agricultural Manager for a prestigious UHNW private estate. Oversee operations with excellence in farming and estate management POSITION Agriculture Manager - Specialising in Mangoes and Citrus OVERSEAS LOCATION Fujairah UAE The Client will arrange a work visa and relocation if not local PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The Agriculture Manager with expertise in citrus and mango cultivation will oversee and manage agricultural operations on the client's farm. As an integral member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful growth, harvesting, and maintenance of citrus, mango and other crops while maximizing yield and quality. QUALIFICATIONS / LICENCES / SKILLS Must have a degree in Horticulture or Agriculture (Mandatory) Drivers License (Mandatory) Fluent in English (Mandatory) Proven experience in citrus and mango cultivation, with a minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in a managerial role. Strong understanding of agricultural principles, practices, and techniques, particularly in citrus and mango production. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of farm workers. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and optimizing operations. Proficiency in farm management software and computer applications for record-keeping and data analysis. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, bending, lifting, and operating machinery as needed. DUTIES Plan, organize, and oversee all aspects of citrus, mango and other cultivation, including planting, irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and harvesting. Develop and implement innovative farming practices to optimize crop yield, quality, and sustainability. Monitor and manage crop health, identifying and addressing any diseases, pests, or nutrient deficiencies promptly. Supervise farm workers and laborers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed to ensure efficient and effective operations. Maintain accurate records of crop production, expenses, and inventory levels, and prepare regular reports for management review. Collaborate with agricultural experts, researchers, and suppliers to stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all farm personnel. Manage budgetary allocations and expenditures for agricultural activities, striving to achieve cost-effective production outcomes. Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to plan and execute the sale and distribution of harvested citrus and mango crops. Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to agricultural operations, ensuring full adherence at all times. SALARY AED 25,000 - AED 30,000 per month DOE Tax Free BENEFITS Accommodation Health Insurance 1 year contract 30 days annual leave Ticket home each year NOTE: work is 6 days per week
