Job DescriptionWe have a vacancy available in the Johannesburg branch for a professional assistant (EE position) with experience in banking, finance, and insolvency law.
The job requirements are as follows:
Be skilled with Case Lines and Court Online systems. Able to prepare and manage correspondence, client reports and documents. Updating of clients in accordance with the SLA. Must be organised and able to take initiative work independently. Proficiency in Diary Management. Must be able to follow-up with agents, sheriffs, staff, and Clients. Right of appearance in the High Court will be an added advantage. Strong drafting skills of Section 129 and 345 Notices, Combined Summonses, Application for Default Judgments, Summary Judgments, Liquidations, Sequestrations and Writs of Execution. Ability to litigate out of the High Court and the Magistrates Court. Be knowledgeable with the drafting to comply with the NCA and understand its application.
Legal Degree. Admitted Attorney.
SkillsComputer literate - Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Ability to work under pressure. Proficiency in office administration. Professional telephone manners. Knowledge of the DM11 system. Minimum 2 years Post admission experience in Banking, Finance and Insolvency Law.
