Job Description
Associate / Senior Associate Rosebank
Our client is seeking an admitted attorney with a specialization in corporate and commercial law (additional experience in the mining industry will be advantageous, but is not a requirement).
Responsibilities:
- Drafting various contracts, including sale agreements, shareholders agreements, memoranda of incorporations, trust deeds, off-take agreements, service level agreements and conducting due diligence investigations.
- Training and overseeing Candidate Attorneys.
- Ability to manage their matters and workload under the supervision of a Director.
Qualifications
An LLB or equivalent qualification, ideally with specialization in corporate and commercial law. Admission as attorney of the High Court of SA.
SkillsMinimum of 2-4 years professional working experience (post articles) at Associate level in Corporate and Commercial Law. A sound knowledge and understanding of the Companies Act and Contract Law. Excellent communication skills. A good command of the English language, and a keen eye for attention to detail. A commitment to high quality client service and producing an excellent work product.
