Airconditioning Technician: Bloemfontein & Kimberley Basic salary negotiable. Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. Relevant Trade certification in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) or a related field. Experience and qualifications in electrical will be an added advantage. Proven experience working as an Air Conditioner Technician, preferably in a residential or commercial setting. Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance on air conditioning systems, including cleaning condenser coils, replacing filters, and lubricating moving parts. Conduct inspections to assess the condition and performance of air conditioning units. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with air conditioning systems, such as refrigerant leaks, electrical malfunctions, or mechanical failures. Repair or replace faulty components and parts, such as compressors motors, thermostats, and fans. Install, assemble, and test new air conditioning systems according to specifications and guidelines. Conduct performance and efficiency tests on air conditioning systems to ensure optimal functionality. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining repair options, and suggesting preventative maintenance measures. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports, inventory, and equipment maintenance logs. Stay updated with industry advancements and product knowledge to effectively carry out repairs and installations. Collaborate with other team members to complete complex projects or handle an increased workload during peak seasons. Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while working on air conditioning systems to ensure a secure and accident-free environment.
