We're on the lookout for an experienced Analyst: Woodyard to sample and analyse chips with the purpose of quantifying chips moisture and chips dimensions which are chips thickness and chip length on all chipper lines and digester chips silos and operate the Gradex instrument to screen each sample and calculate the percentage of all chips dimension in the sample. As an Analyst: Woodyard, you will be responsible for: Responsible for plant and laboratory checks within the area of responsibility Report to and take reasonable instructions from the senior technician Maintain high levels of safety and housekeeping Perform any other tasks required by management at an equivalent level of complexity including SAP notifications, Isometric notification, time, and attendance for the analytical instruments department on SAP Perform testing duties by executing actions related to testing, checking, troubleshooting, measuring, and recording according to the criteria and parameters prescribed Perform routine checks according to the prescribed system and on instruction Operate all tasks safely according to operating procedures, guidelines, and policy Perform laboratory moisture test on each sample and electronically distribute the results mill wild using the PHS system What are we looking for? Grade 12 and N2 Pulp and Paper or Chemistry At least 1-2 years of relevant experience within a similar environment What's in it for you?
