This position reports to the Operational Analytics Manager Your responsibilities will include: Design, develop, and implement various dashboards to create visibility, reduce risk, and improve productivity in DC Operations Set up and monitor system health and operational and application metrics Root cause analysis of operational issues Able to independently troubleshoot issues within the teams' system. Prepare weekly and monthly operations reports as a result of collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information. Identify cost-saving areas and system inefficiencies Identify and action trends within the system Work with all levels within the business unit to resolve issues. Prepares end-users to utilize the system by conducting training. Provides reference for end-users by contributing to documentation; providing support and help. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by staying abreast with the latest industry trends; reviewing professional publications; and upskilling on technology Participates in long-term and short-term data analysis and tooling with a focus on increasing productivity, lowering fixed and variable costs, and improving customer experience. Measure and report results regularly and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Assists more senior analysts with investigations/tools Attributes required: Customer-centric Proactive Energetic Direct, solutions and results-oriented Innovative problem solver Curious thinker who understands technical topics beyond the average reader Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Organizational and business savvy Qualifications and experience: Bachelor’s Degree, BTech or Advanced Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering In the event that you do not have a bachelor’s degree or an advanced diploma (in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering), an equivalent experience requirement must be met, which equates to a minimum of 6 years of operational support experience in a software/technology environment. 2 years of operational support experience in a software/technology environment In-depth understanding of best practices relating to system support and monitoring Experience building applications with Low-code builders (eg. Flutterflow, Appgyver, etc.) Good database knowledge, including the ability to write and optimize complex queries.
