MARULA PLATINUM LIMITED Asset Management Engineer - D2 INTERNAL/EXTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT DATE OF DISTRIBUTION 07.06.2023 CLOSING DATE 16.06.2023 PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Manages the Asset Management systems, and processes in accordance with international best practices while ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory legislation by continuously examining the appropriateness of existing systems and processes for possible improvements and implementing changes as required MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: An undergraduate qualification (B Tech/Bachelors / Honours Bachelors degree or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is essential Possession of GCC Certificate or studying towards will be advantageous Strong operational experience (more than 10 years) in the application of asset management principles in an underground trackless mining environment is essential Minimum of three years working experience as a PMA Officer will be advantageous Extensive SAP PM knowledge including deployment experience gained in a mining environment Demonstrated programme management is essential Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at our Occupational Health Centre KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of asset management systems and processes: Asset Performance Monitoring Requirements - reliability, productivity, costs, time model, trending and setting of appropriate targets. Work Management Work identification, planning, scheduling, assignment, breakdown management, analysis. Maintenance Tactics Asset Strategies and Lifecycle Modelling Defect Elimination Shutdown and Reliability Resets Management Operate and Maintain for Reliability programs Integrated Condition Monitoring and Assurance Programs Preventative Maintenance Effectiveness programs Asset release, repair (Job set up, workshop setup, quality oversight) and return SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES MAY BE SUBJECTED TO PSYCHOMETRIC ASSESSMENTS - MARULA PLATINUM LTD RESERVES THE RIGHT NOT TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT.
