Salary: Market related Location: Boksburg Job type : Permanent Industry: Trading and Distribution Reference Number: CWR.AMG.AA.07022024 COMPANY DESCRIPTION: Our client is a trader, recycler and distributor of scrap metal with operations in Foundry, Scrap Metal, Logistics, Clearing and Forwarding. They are looking for an energetic and driven Assistant Accountant to enhance their finance department. This position is based in Boksburg, Gauteng. JOB DESCRIPTION: MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Efficiently manage payroll functions Accurately process transactions and maintain records using Sage One Oversee accounts payable and contribute to month-end account reconciliations Assist in VAT, PAYE, and Income Tax processes Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate financial reporting EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Matric Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field will be beneficial EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Experience in payroll processing, using Sage One, and managing accounts Knowledge of VAT, PAYE, and Income Tax is beneficial Proficiency in Office365, Sage One, and Sage Online Payroll POPIA By Submitting your CV, you confirm that: We may retain your personal information in our database for future matching.
