Assistant Accountant - - Johannesburg

Minimum requirements:

NQF 7 Accounting / Finance qualification
3 5 years experience in FMCG, manufacturing or retail or completed articles
Attention to detail, ability to self-start and willingness to get operationally involved
Knowledge of and experience on ERP systems and intermediate Excel skills
Understanding of tax and VAT
Ability to compile financial reports
Previous exposure to fresh produce / exports industry advantageous
Full financial function up to trial balance including accounts receivable, accounts payable, cashbook, stock control and general ledger
Daily capturing and processing of financial transactions onto ERP system
Assistance with export documentation and clearing of incoming foreign payments
