A catering company with a client in Howick is urgently looking to fill an Assistant Catering Manager role. This person will be required to lead a team, having good knowledge of HR-related matters. You would also need to assist with menu developoment and function menus; handle costings, ordering stock and managing stock. A Grade 12 At least 5 (five) years' experience working in a similar position or environment Skilled and passionate about food, upmarket functions, baking and preparation of food Must be able to assist with menu development and function menus Understanding of costings, ordering and management of stock Delegates and leads a team efficiently, has a good understanding of HR related matters A clear understanding of the importance of HSE and implementation thereof Able to work well under pressure Attention to detail – especially when it comes to quality and presentation of meals Able to work long hours, weekends, and shift work Own vehicle Must be computer literate R12 000 Apply Now
