Our client based in Pretoria is looking for Assistant Director: Logistics Management (Assets, Transport & Facilities) - L9 on a 12-month contract. Responsibilities and Duties: Asset Management Management of Assets Managing and ensuring assets are well maintained in order to sustain useful lives. Manage and ensure all assets are accounted for, thus assets are recorded on the verification lists and that these lists are signed off. Monitor and review the capturing of all physical (moveable and immovable) assets in the physical asset management registers. Monitor and review the monitoring of assets to asset holders. Stores and Warehouse Management of stores and warehouse Monitor issuing of goods (stock and non-stock) items Liaise with client offices regarding the collection of delivered goods. Conduct performance agreements with subordinates. Delegate responsibilities to subordinates. Supervisory of staff Transport Management Manage transport and travelling. Notify traveller / LTCO on finalised booking. Submit travel authorisation to travel agent. Obtain approval for official travel, verify travel authorisation. Facilities Rendering of the emergency calls regarding the maintenance with the building Registering of all complaints from CLCC Office Check meter readings and forward to the service provider in order to update the number of copies used. Maintain the physical security functions including key control, personnel and documents. Qualifications 3-year bachelor's degree/national diploma in Logistics Management/ Purchasing Management/Financial Management/ Supply Chain Management of equivalent qualification A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience working in Supply Chain Management under Logistics Management Good understanding of Finance Management Act (PFMA) PPPFA, Treasury Regulations and Relevant Supply Chain Management prescripts Knowledge of the Logistical Information System (LOGIS) and Basic Accounting System (BAS) Transversal Systems Job Related skills. Desired Skills: Computer Literacy skills communication skills verbal and written interpersoal relations analytical skills teamwork working under pressure meeting deadlines Desired Work Experience: 2 to 5 years Recruitment 2 to 5 years Executive Management / Director Desired Qualification Level: Degree Apply Now
