Mooi River Area – KwaZulu Natal : Our client is looking for an Assistant Farm Manager to join the team. Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Agricultural Diploma / Degree advantageous Previous Dairy & Crop farming experience Previous pasture management experience advantageous Proven irrigation/pivot experience essential Computer literate Must be willing to work weekends & have sober habits Maintenance orientated Ability to speak Zulu essential Valid drivers’ license with own vehicle for private use RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Running of centre pivots and maintenance Measuring of pastures with rising plate meter Maintenance of fencing – electric and standard fencing Assisting in reaping and planting of maize Assisting in planting pastures Water reticulation Assisting in heifer management ONLY short listed candidates will be contacted
