Assistant Finance Manager - Cape Town City Centre

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the financial operations of the institution, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure accurate and timely audit processes.
  • Develop and implement effective financial policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with various departments to support financial planning and resource allocation.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the institution's financial stability.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to senior management and the board of directors.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the institution's compliance and financial competitiveness.
Qualifications:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role, preferably in the education sector.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
