Assistant Financial Accountant (Investments) - - Cape Town City Centre

Well-rated asset manager has a unique opportunity available to join their team as a Assistant Financial Accountant.

This role is Cape Town based. And an EE designated opportunity.

This role is responsible for various tasks including fee calculations, maintaining CRM systems, updating financial records, invoicing, and assisting with business planning and forecasting.

Key responsibilities include:

Fee calculations in line with the latest mandates
Maintain CRM for finance specific fields
Update systems with new mandates & updating existing client’s records with changes.
Perform reasonability checks on the fee calculations and update calculations as required
Prepare fee invoices
Prepare fund transfer requests as required
Follow up on long outstanding accounts receivable balances
Reconciliation of VAT on a monthly basis
Assist with business planning and forecasting.
Prepare the monthly funds under management report.
