Purpose of the Job We are seeking an Assistant Manager to collaborate closely with the Branch Manager in ensuring the profitable and efficient management of staff, stock, and sales optimisation. Key responsibilities include people management, HR administration, cash handling, stock administration, sales maximisation, Main Ledger reporting, financial and stock administration reporting, and enforcing procedures to meet customer expectations. The role also involves overseeing housekeeping and compliance assurance, conducting weekly planning meetings aligned with branch and regional manager sales and operational requirements, and allocating tasks to staff responsibly. Additionally, the Assistant Manager will ensure timely staff onboarding and on-the-job training, adherence to corporate policies, labor legislation, and the development of branch staff in alignment with their core competencies.
