Position Available: Assistant Manager - IT Audit Purpose of the Position: As an Assistant Manager - IT Audit, you will play a pivotal role in managing IT internal audit reviews for the IAS. Your responsibilities will include conducting internal audit work in accordance with established standards, analyzing internal controls, providing improvement recommendations, and ensuring the robustness of internal control processes and systems to mitigate risks. Additionally, you will oversee key activities for assigned engagements, including planning, client communication, fieldwork quality, reporting, and team performance evaluation. Key Responsibilities: Operational Delivery: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of various businesses and models. Manage relationships with key stakeholders and share knowledge with the broader IAS team. Promote the strategy and role of the IAS department within the portfolio. Provide career coaching, mentoring, and assist in development planning for team members. Planning: Communicate assignment details to clients and team within specified timelines. Conduct adequate research for each area under review and maintain audit files in line with methodology. Prepare project deliverables and guide teams through allocated sections. Fieldwork: Prepare and review engagement work papers to ensure quality standards are met. Execute fieldwork when necessary and ensure a clear understanding of all identified issues. Apply the IAS escalation framework as needed. Reporting: Prepare draft reports with management comments for review by the IT Audit Manager. Discuss and close out audit findings with key stakeholders. Project Management: Manage deadlines and budget effectively. Provide planning input, updates, and address project issues to the Manager. Identify areas of improvement to enhance team efficiency. Quality Assurance: Assess and sign off on engagement quality in line with IIA/IAS standards. Maintain IT files according to defined methodology and QAIP. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, or Computer Science. Professional qualification in IT Audit: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). CRISC and CISSP certifications are advantageous. Business education at an academic level. Minimum 4 years' experience in internal audit, with an additional 2 years in supervisory roles. Experience: Interest in the technology and media industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and TeamMate. Exceptional report writing skills. Technical Competencies: Core understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC). Project Management skills. IT Governance and Risk Management expertise. Behavioral Competencies: Strong people and stakeholder management skills. Service excellence mindset. Ability to work autonomously and manage teams effectively.
