The primary focus of your role will be to perform outbound calls for confirmation of cover and other questions that may arise after the online capture of new electronic or paper proposal applications on our system. You'll have to keep your finger on the pulse of the organisation's internal service level agreement to make sure that they achieve the agreed targets and turn around times. You'll work closely with the underwriting teams and you may also be involved with the quality assurance of all captured information your colleagues have captured and where necessary, escalating any issues appropriately. Your qualifications: You must have passed grade 12/matric with Maths literacy or NFS achievement level 3. Your experience: - You must have exceptional telephone skills - Knowledge or experience in health-related terminology is preferable - Previous call centre or customer service experience is preferable Your skills and character traits: - You are organised and have administrative skills - You are quality driven - You have the ability to pay attention to detail (accuracy is important) - You have the ability to work effectively with others and contribute to the team's accomplishments - You have the ability to operate effectively under pressure - You are task and deadline orientated - You must have the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities - You have a strong sense of ownership - You can manage your own time - You are proactive Desired Skills: Life Underwriter Call Centre Underwriter Life Insurance Employer & Job Benefits: Monthly Incentives
