As our Enthusiastic Assistant Finance Manager, you will be pivotal in safeguarding the financial health of our organisation. Your responsibilities will encompass reviewing and authorising monthly sub-ledger and general ledger reconciliations, taking charge of project accounting for specific projects across the Group, assisting with Group taxes, liaising effectively with external tax consultants, and providing robust tax audit support. You will also manage the preparation and reporting of Corporate and Property accounts, assist with budget processes, perform thorough due diligence on prospective acquisitions, and assist with internal audit projects. This role calls for unwavering commitment, infectious enthusiasm, and an acute eye for detail. Review and authorise monthly sub-ledger and general ledger reconciliations with precision Take charge of project accounting for specific projects across the Group Assist with Group taxes - including meticulous review, reporting and filing of returns Manage preparation and reporting of Corporate and Property accounts with accuracy Assist with budget process including consolidation of Group Budget reporting pack Liaise effectively with external tax consultants, tax authorities and provide robust tax audit support for the group Perform thorough due diligence on prospective acquisitions Assist with internal audit projects as directed by the Internal Audit Department and CEO The ideal candidate for this Enthusiastic Assistant Finance Manager position is a newly qualified CA(SA) with at least one year post article experience or a SAIPA candidate with over three years post article experience. You should have a strong understanding of IFRS for SME's, experience in managing project accounting efficiently, proven ability in performing thorough due diligence on prospective acquisitions, experience in liaising effectively with external tax consultants and authorities, and the ability to manage preparation and reporting of Corporate and Property accounts accurately. Your unwavering commitment, infectious enthusiasm, and acute eye for detail will be key to your success in this role. Newly Qualified CA(SA) with min 1 year post article experience or 3 year post article experience SAIPA candidate Strong understanding of IFRS for SME's Experience in managing project accounting efficiently Proven ability in performing thorough due diligence on prospective acquisitions Experience in liaising effectively with external tax consultants and authorities Ability to manage preparation and reporting of Corporate and Property accounts accurately Apply Now
