Working hours: Monday to Friday 12:00-19:00, Saturdays 08:00-17:00 (sports, play dates, kids parties) occasional baby sitting on Fridays/Saturday School holiday hours: Same availability as above over school holidays A family is looking for a LIVE IN OR LIVE OUT AU PAIR for their children aged 7 and 11 years old Area: Dainfern Working hours: Monday to Friday 12:00-19:00, Saturdays 08:00-17:00 (sports, play dates, kids parties) occasional baby sitting on Fridays/Saturday School holiday hours: Same availability as above over school holidays Live in or Live out: Full bedroom and bathroom provided with full cupboards, all meals are provided during working hours. This would be best suited for a live in position by the family is open to a live out position, the room is at the disposal of the au pair if they wish to spend the night on occasion if they might be babysitting etc or have early morning requirements. Duties: taking to and from extra murals, assisting with homework, projects, stimulating educational activities and other school work, meal preparation snacks, lunches and dinner, personal hygiene- getting ready for bed and other events/activities, taking to and from and being present at sport commitments, play dates and kinds parties on the weekends, occasional grocery shopping, running of household and children’s errands but not limited to. Requirements: mature, single individual. Someone with a kind, caring, nurturing and compassionate nature. Previous tutoring/teaching experience or a degree preferable. Best suited for an individual who does not have conflicting commitments as this would be their primary job on a permanent basis. Travelling locally and internationally on occasion. English & Afrikaans speaking, flexible with working hours, additionally occasional babysitting Start Date and contract term: Permanent hire, available immediately Salary: R25 000 - R30 000 per month. Valid drivers license, vehicle can be provided for but own vehicle preferable. All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements: Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years. Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience. Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
