You will be working for an Award Winning, Top 50, Mid-Tier Firm based in the UK. Excellent opportunity to gain extensive experience in UK Accounting Practice and Standards (UK GAAP/FRS 102). Location: Johannesburg or Cape Town (Hybrid Office Model) Term: 12 Month Annual Renewable Contract The role will involve working as part of the audit team ensuring that audit planning, fieldwork, and completion are performed to a sufficient standard, ultimately resulting in the ability for the firm to sign audit reports, provide excellent service levels to clients, and assist in developing audit trainees. Responsibilities: Manage the audit process for every project, providing updates to the relevant Manager/Partner. Produce precise draft accounts with few unresolved queries and compile a thorough audit file promptly and systematically. Responsible for planning, execution (compliance and substantive testing, analytical review, etc.) and completion of audit work to a high standard. Engaged with a diverse clientele encompassing small and medium-sized privately owned limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders. Responsible for drafting accounts from various client records and preparing a meticulously organized audit file (paperless) for review. Conducted audits on tax computations as part of the process. Requirements: 110% passionate about External Auditing and really looking to build a solid career in Auditing. Signed-off Articles. Newly qualififed CA(SA) or Part-Qualififed CA(SA). Must have experience in the full audit cycle within the Private sector experience for Owner Managed Businesses. Experience working within a team on external audit assignments from planning to fieldwork and completion stages under International Standards on Auditing. Sound knowledge of accounting and auditing concepts and aware of own limitations and when to ask for assistance. Communicates clearly with team members and clients as to status of jobs. Takes responsibility for the completion of assignments and tasks delegated to them with the ability to work independently.
