We are seeking an Assistant Audit Manager who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our audit engagements and contributing to the growth of our firm. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive Audit Oversight: Assume full responsibility for all aspects of audit engagements, encompassing meticulous planning, efficient execution of field work, and the preparation of comprehensive reports. Communicate findings to both the Audit Manager and Partner. 2. Work Paper Review: Conduct thorough reviews of audit work papers on engagements, ensuring precision, adherence to professional standards, and consistency across all projects. 3. Document Precision: Generate impeccably crafted documents, reports, and engagement files, reflecting the firm's unwavering commitment to professionalism and accuracy. 4. Financial Statement Expertise: Expertly prepare Annual Financial Statements in strict accordance with IFRS for SMEs, showcasing your mastery of financial reporting. 5. Team Leadership: Provide daily supervision to audit staff and teams, nurturing a collaborative and supportive work environment that fosters growth and excellence. 6. Mentorship and Coaching: Develop and coach audit staff, actively participating in their professional growth journey. Complete performance reviews to guide their development effectively. 7. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong client relationships through effective communication, understanding their needs, and addressing any concerns or inquiries that may arise. 8. Insightful Management Reports: Craft insightful management reports that offer strategic insights based on audit findings, assisting clients in making informed decisions. 9. Timely Progress Updates: Maintain up-to-date and accurate progress reports, providing transparent visibility into the status of ongoing engagements. 10. Budget Management: Formulate, monitor, and adhere to audit budgets for engagements, ensuring efficiency and optimal resource utilization. 11. SAICA EAT System: Administer trainee assessments using the SAICA EAT system, contributing to the professional development of future auditors. 12. Additional Contributions: Undertake supplementary duties as required, demonstrating your adaptability and commitment to advancing the firm's success.
