We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Auto Body Repair Workshop Manager to lead our workshop operations and ensure the continued success of our business. Position Overview: The Auto Body Repair Workshop Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our auto body repair facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and management, ensuring that the workshop operates efficiently, meets high-quality standards, and adheres to safety regulations. The Manager will also be responsible for leading and motivating a team of technicians to achieve optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the auto body repair workshop. Ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repair jobs. Implement and maintain standardized operating procedures. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely availability of required materials. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of skilled auto body repair technicians. Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team's skills and knowledge. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Manage staffing requirements, including hiring and performance evaluations. Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of repair work. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any quality issues. Monitor and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve service quality. Customer Service: Interact with customers to understand their repair needs and address any concerns. Ensure timely communication of repair progress and completion to customers. Strive to exceed customer expectations and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental policies. Implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety training for workshop staff. Stay informed about industry trends and changes in regulations. Minimum Qualifications: Proven experience in auto body repair, with at least 3 years of managerial experience. Knowledge of South African automotive industry standards and regulations. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
