We are seeking AWS Support Engineers with varying levels of seniority to join our team at NTT. As an AWS Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional support and technical guidance to our clients as they navigate the AWS ecosystem. Your expertise will help ensure our clients' success on the AWS platform. Working at NTT Key Roles and Responsibilities: Client Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, offering technical support, guidance, and issue resolution related to AWS services. Technical Expertise: Maintain an in-depth understanding of AWS services, features, best practices, and updates, providing valuable insights to clients. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure swift problem resolution. Incident Management: Manage and respond to AWS service incidents, working closely with AWS support to resolve complex technical problems. Performance Monitoring: Monitor AWS environments to proactively identify and address potential issues, optimizing performance and cost-efficiency. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation, including troubleshooting procedures and solutions, to assist in issue resolution and knowledge sharing. Client Education: Educate clients on AWS best practices, cost optimization strategies, and security recommendations. Security and Compliance: Assist clients in implementing and maintaining security and compliance measures in their AWS environments. Collaboration: Work in tandem with cross-functional teams, including AWS account managers, Solutions Architects, and DevOps engineers, to deliver comprehensive solutions and support. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with AWS certifications and training, ensuring that you remain at the forefront of AWS technology. Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes: Ability to work effectively with teams and individuals distributed globally across time zones and cultures Must encourage, support, and guide continuous improvement of the team, its products, and processes Able to resolve conflict through arbitration, negotiation, reasoned discussion, or escalation Ability to identify problems, impediments, dependencies, and other team dysfunctions, and then facilitate quick resolution A proactive self-starter who is able to operate independently and as part of a team What will make you a good fit for the role? Academic Qualifications and Certifications: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Management, Business Administration or a related field preferred. Any AWS Certifications, such as; AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner. AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate. AWS Certified Developer - Associate. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional. Required Experience: Strong experience as an AWS Support Engineer, providing technical support for AWS services. Exceptional problem-solving skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong knowledge of AWS services, architecture, and best practices. Familiarity with incident management and support ticketing systems.
